Having a Certified Dental Lab and Technicians Offers Security

As part of our on-going effort to establish and maintain a bar of professional excellence which the dental lab industry demands, Treasure Dental Lab is committed to attaining professional certifications on multiple levels. Since 1974 we have been an active member of the National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL). The NADL is the respected authority within the dental industry. The association expects the highest standards be upheld and we wouldn’t have it any other way. In fact, we maintain certifications on multiple levels in order to meet and exceed this standard.

Certified Dental Laboratory

With the evolution of the industry and the saturation of the market, in 1995 we made the decision to set ourselves apart from much of the competition and become a Certified Dental Laboratory (CDL). The CDL program sets specific standards for safety, quality, and business & manufacturing practices. Being a CDL means that we are continuously striving to improve our quality and efficiency of service.

By maintaining our CDL our lab is nationally recognized as one who is not only compliant, but also competent in dentistry and dental technology standards. If you ever find yourself in a battle with an insurance carrier or in a court room having a Certified Dental Lab as your partner becomes an invaluable resource.

Certified Dental Technicians

Part of what makes our lab operate so efficiently and at a top level of professional service is our dedication to individual certifications and training. At Treasure Dental Lab we employ 9 Certified Dental Technicians (CDT’s). These certification require hours of additional training and signifies significant achievement and mastery of both knowledge and skill. Having a CDT means that your technician has exceptional understanding of the process, the skill to execute and deliver a product, and the technical to utilize the necessary technology efficiently. It also means they have held to high practice standards and have not been found guilty of negligent practices.

After the initial CDT is earned significant amounts of time are spent each year earning CE (continuing education) credit in order to retain the designation of Certified Dental Technician.

Beyond the Certifications

In addition to being a certified lab which employ CDT’s, we also make it a point to be involved in other professional organizations. A few of these are AACD (American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry), DLOBA (Dental Lab Owners of America), DDS (Donated Dental Services), and OHA (Oral Health America.
These organizations allow us to stay in communication with other industry professionals as well as provide opportunities for us to give back to our communities and others who at times, cannot afford necessary dental work.
At Treasure Dental Lab we love what we do and we appreciate having the opportunity to serve with the highest standards. If you have questions regarding our certifications, trainings, or other professional associations please give us a call at 1-800-325-5244 or contact us here. We’d be happy to answer your questions.
